Villa Trigona, ancient and prestigious dwelling, built between 700 and 800 recently renovated, with 2 suites and 12 rooms (of which 2 are for disable) is waiting for a pleasant and relaxing, cultural and gastronomic tourist. The villa, belonging to the homonymous family for generations is less than 1 km from Piazza Armerina and is surrounded by 5 acres of parkland.  In the wake of the secular tradition of hospitality of this land, everything is built and designed to accommodate the guests in a very friendly way.  The Villa, while close to the city, is set in a rural context, which still maintains the charm and beauty of the countryside of this area in the hinterland of Sicily with its fascinating and now lost sounds alternated with unimaginable silences. To this natural charm has been carefully combined all the comforts. The rooms are air-conditioned and with private facilities, all in a perfect synthesis of functionality and refined, but simple and practical furnishings. The rooms all are different for the arrangement and for the furniture (the original Villa furniture is used) In areas of the villa there are also several lounges, a lounge with a fireplace, a small library, a room for listening music and for TV.

The breakfast, which in summer is served in the large terrace in the shade of acacia trees, offers a rich and varied selection, from sweet to savoury with the addition of typical local products. The cuisine is a point on which Villa Trigona, whose owners are members and admirers of the circuits of Slow Food, they want to give a personal and special touch. On reservation, you can enjoy excellent meals, which are prepared exclusively for guests of the villa. Outside are open spaces and green pine woods, an oak tree, olive trees, fruit trees, other groves, of which two beautiful, old and rare. For the guests are available: an area for archery, a bowling green, a playground, table tennis, games, and mountain biking. Also interesting horse riding walks can be made.
